Shipping Policy

All ItaCakes products ship from California, USA via USPS, FedEx, UPS, or DHL. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your order, destination, and selected shipping method.

Order Processing

We strive to process orders within 1 business day and often ship the same day. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.

We make every effort to maintain accurate inventory. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you promptly.

Tracking and Delivery

Tracking information is automatically emailed once your order ships.

Carrier transit times and delivery dates are estimates unless a carrier guarantee expressly applies to the selected service. Delays may occur due to weather, holidays, customs, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Expedited shipping applies to carrier transit time after your order has been processed and shipped. It does not guarantee same-day processing.

USPS Priority Mail: $10.00 (estimated delivery in 2–3 business days after shipment)
USPS Priority Mail Express: $35.00 (estimated delivery in 1–2 business days after shipment to most U.S. locations)
FedEx Standard Overnight: $40.00 (estimated delivery in 1–2 business days after shipment to most U.S. locations)
UPS Next Day Air Saver: $40.00 (estimated delivery in 1–2 business days after shipment to most U.S. locations)

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Unless expressly included at checkout, international customers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country.

Customs authorities may inspect, delay, hold, or refuse packages. ItaCakes cannot control customs processing or decisions. If a customs issue occurs, please contact us so we can review the shipment and available options.

All customs declarations include an accurate description and value of the merchandise.

Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

If you notice an address error, please contact us as soon as possible. Address changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been processed or shipped.

If a package is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, the customer is responsible for return shipping and any additional shipping charges required for redelivery, where permitted by applicable law.

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery with your order number, a description of the damage, and photos of the product and packaging.

Keep the original packaging until the issue is resolved. We will review the issue and may assist with a carrier claim when appropriate.

Lost, Missing, or Stolen Packages

If your shipment appears delayed or lost, please contact us with your order number so we can review the tracking information and available next steps.

If tracking shows delivery but you cannot locate your package, please check with household members, neighbors, your building’s mailroom or management, and around the delivery location.

We may assist with tracking inquiries or submit a carrier claim when appropriate. Claims are subject to the carrier’s investigation and policies. A delivery scan does not automatically determine eligibility for a refund or replacement; we will review the circumstances and applicable requirements.

Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted only for defective or damaged products and require prior approval from ItaCakes. Please contact us within 72 hours of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos.

Do not return an item without authorization. Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging unless otherwise instructed. We will review the issue and provide return instructions and information about any applicable refund or replacement.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before shipment by contacting us as soon as possible. Because orders are processed quickly, cancellations cannot be guaranteed once processing has begun.

A 5% cancellation fee may apply to orders canceled after processing has started, where permitted by applicable law.

Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

Your rights under applicable consumer protection laws are not affected by this policy.
