ITA Cakes has been bringing unique and high-quality cake decorating supplies to customers around the world since 2009.

How It All Began

My mother, Margarita, loved to bake. She created beautiful and delicious cakes, cupcakes, and desserts for her family and friends. Her dream was to open a cake decorating supply business and share her passion for baking with others.

When she was diagnosed with breast cancer, we decided to turn her dream into reality. What started as a business idea quickly became a special mother-and-daughter project—a true labor of love.

We began importing unique baking and cake decorating supplies from around the world. Our very first product was a collection of acrylic rolling pins. We connected with local baking clubs and communities, where customers loved discovering our unique products. Side by side, my mother and I photographed our products and built the very first ITACakes.com.

Everyone loved meeting Margarita. Many people affectionately called her “Ita,” and that is how ITA Cakes got its name.

ITA Cakes is a lasting tribute to Margarita, her creativity, and her love of baking. After she passed away, I made the decision to continue her dream and carry the torch forward.

Today, thanks to our wonderful and loyal customers, ITA Cakes has grown into an international business, with happy customers in more than 90 countries across 6 continents. It is always exciting to see our products travel to places as far away as South Africa, Greece, Trinidad & Tobago, Thailand, New Zealand, French Polynesia, and many other wonderful destinations.
